Lakeville Police searching Long Pond after reports of missing person

LAKEVILLE --- The public is asked to avoid the Long Pond area Tuesday June 30 while first responders search for a possible missing person.
Lakeville Police are searching the area of Nelson Island and Big Beach in response to a report that someone is potentially missing. Police have not confirmed that anyone is in the water.
The search is being conducted out of an abundance of caution, police said. No additional information is immediately available.
