Three local women vie for Miss Massachusetts, Miss Massachusetts Teen
MIDDLEBORO -- Two young women with ties to Middleboro will be vying for the title of Miss Massachusetts at the 2026 Miss Massachusetts Scholarship Competition at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20.
Hope Anderson, a native of Middleboro, holds the title of Miss South Shore. She graduated from Dean College in 2024 with a degree in exercise science and is now a post-baccalaureate premedical student at Tufts University.
She is the daughter of Josh and Jessica Anderson and will be performing a HERStory for the talent phase of competition. Her community service initiative is titled “Special Olympics: Inclusion is the Revolution".
Taylor Durant of East Freetown holds the title of Miss Middleboro. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in business management and a minor in forestry.
She is the daughter of Jennifer Durant and Michael Durant and will be performing a baton twirling routine for the talent phase of competition. Her community service initiative is titled “Healthy Forests, Healthy Futures."
A Middleboro teen titleholder will be competing for Miss Massachusetts Teen 2026, which will be held Thursday June 18.
Lily Clondas holds the title of Miss Middleboro Teen. She is from Taunton and a student at Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical High School.
She is the daughter of Jim and Terri Clondas. She is a tap dancer and her community service initiative is titled "Nutrition Mission."
