The honor recognizes his exceptional leadership, advocacy, and longstanding commitment to advancing home care services, the agency said.
He was described as a dedicated champion for South Shore VNA who has played a critical role in elevating the visibility of home care services across the health system.
Through his operational leadership, he has identified and addressed challenges impacting South Shore VNA, helping ensure the division's needs remain a priority and establishing himself as a trusted advocate for home care, the organization said.
Among his many contributions, Pascarelli organizes a successful craft fair and health fair that increases community awareness of South Shore VNA while raising funds to support its programs.
He has also strengthened employee engagement by creating a "Fun Club," which brings clinical and administrative teams together through activities, events, and recognition programs that foster collaboration and boost morale.
“Richard embodies everything this award represents,” said Elizabeth Sulger, Vice President of South Shore Health’s Home Care Services. “His commitment to home care, his ability to bring people together, and his passion for advocating for our VNA have made a lasting impact on our organization and the people we serve.”
