Myra N. (Zamora) Dutra, 77

MIDDLEBOROUGH  -  Myra N. (Zamora) Dutra, age 77, of Middleborough, died with her family by her side, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.

She was born in the Philippines, the daughter of the late Consuelo Zamora.  Myra grew up in Manila, the Philippines, attended public schools and graduated high school.  She came to the United States in the mid-1970's; became a homemaker, raised her family, attended Massasoit Community College and worked for years at E.S. Ritchie Navigation in Pembroke, as an assembler for marine compasses.  Myra loved cooking and dancing, and could get anyone out onto a dance floor!  She loved gardening and had quite a "Green Thumb".  Family was everything to Myra, she cherished times spent with her children and grandchildren and always put others first.  She also enjoyed spending time with her Filipino friends.  Myra was a generous, kind and loving lady; she will be sorely missed.

Myra was the beloved former wife and longtime companion of the late David Dutra; loving mother of Manny Zamora of Halifax, Eric Zamora & his wife Renae of Middleborough, Flo Kosh of Middleborough, Mary Jane Boiros & her husband Brian of East Taunton; cherished grandmother of Brandon Zamora & his wife Chelsie, Christopher Zamora & his wife Jessica, Alexander Zamora, Kalyn Kosh, Hailey Kosh, Madison Boiros, and Brian Boiros; great-grandmother of Maya Rae Zamora; dear sister of the late Rita Richardson; dear sister-in-law of Mark & Sharon Dutra of Middleborough and Larry & Sue Dutra of Middleborough; adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews.  

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley~Drolette Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

All are welcome to Myra's funeral service at the Ashley~Drolette Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM.

Interment services will be private.
