Nichols Middle School Committee in Middleborough. In his free time, he was an avid bowler, enjoyed trying his luck in casinos, and played weekly card games with family and friends. David cherished time with his grandchildren and was thrilled to take them on vacations to Disney World in Florida. He also looked forward to vacationing on Bailey Island in Maine.
David was the beloved husband of the late Deanna V. (Shurtleff) MacNayr; loving companion of Susan Eaton; loving father of David MacNayr, Jr. of Wareham, Terri MacNayr & her wife Denny of Plymouth, Glenn MacNayr & his wife Karen of Middleborough, and Scott MacNayr & his wife Lisa of Sandwich; cherished grandfather of Joshua, Jonathan, Justin, Kristin, Michael, Meaghan, Derek, Caroline, and the late Glenn, Jr.,; great-grandfather of 17; dear brother of Bessie Kimball of Hyannis and the late Bruce, Ronnie, Carol and Judy.
