LAKEVILLE – The children had a pop, skip and a jump with bubbles on the lawn.
The Lakeville Public Library got kids moving during a bubble dance party in front of the Center Stage on Wednesday, Aug. 5. Dozens of children hopped and ran around the lawn with their friends. Some danced, with a little help from their parents.
Others tried to beat the heat by putting their face in bubble machines.
The children turned the grass into their own stage. They bounced around to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to New York” and “The Gummy Bear Song.”
When they weren’t dancing, they swatted and poked at the bubbles.
Youth services librarian Teresa Mirra brought the action right to the children as she walked across the grass with a bubble blowing machine.
