The Middleborough Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 7:00 P.M., in the Select Board’s Meeting Room, Middleborough Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA to hear the petition of Robert Kirkland, 23 Webster Street, Middleborough, MA 02346 relative to his request to be granted a special permit pursuant to Section 9.4 of the Middleborough Zoning By-law to allow for a second additional dwelling unit on the third floor of the multi-family dwelling. CONSERVATION COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 6:30 pm at the Lakeville Police Station 323 Bedford Street, on a Notice of Intent. The applicants, Richard & Deborah Hanson are proposing to remove and replace a septic tank and some associated pipes within the 100 ft. Buffer Zone of
Long Pond as part of the complete removal and replacement of the septic system and to construct a multi-tiered patio. The location of the project is 4 Court Circle, Map #56, Block #4 Lot #23.

Roof Replacement at the Lakeville Public Library
The Town of Lakeville, Massachusetts is inviting the submission of sealed Bids for Roof Replacement at the Lakeville Public Library. Work includes furnishing labor and materials necessary for the removal, disposal, and re-installation of flat and shingle roofing, and all work incidental thereto. Bid packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on October 2, 2025 in the Town Administrator’s Office, located at 346 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347, or via email request to esurette@lakevillema.org. Bids must be received in the Town Administrator’s Office by 2:00 PM on October 16, 2025, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud. An optional pre-bid site visit will occur at 10:30 AM on October 7, 2025 at 4 Precinct Street, Lakeville, MA. Bidders must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law. Bidders must submit Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) approved Certificates of Eligibility and Update Statements with all bids and must be certified in the roofing category of work. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject in whole or in part, any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
