WWII survivor to share story at Lakeville Council

Inge Pustelnikas, a WWII survivor and one of the few remaining “German Wolf Children,” will speak at the Lakeville Council on Aging on Friday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m.

At just 10 years old, Inge escaped onto a train to Lithuania in search of food for her family, enduring a harrowing journey through the woods and swamps of East Prussia. Her story highlights survival, hope, and reunion, eventually leading her to settle in the United States.

Space is limited, and sign-ups are required. The Council is located at 1 Dear Crossing.
