Stabbing in Middleboro leads to charges against two men
MIDDLEBORO -- Two Middleboro men face charges in connection with a stabbing during an argument Thursday night May 21 at a Center Street home, police report.
The incident took place during an argument involving several people at a small gathering, police said.
A 35-year-old man was allegedly held against his will, police reported, assaulted by two men and stabbed in the back of his head.
Two suspects then fled the scene of the incident, police said, which was reported at about 11:16 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening, police said.
Two suspects were identified.
Jason Hancock, 43, of Middleboro was arrested at his home and charged with kidnapping, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and witness intimidation.
A warrant was obtained for Nicholas Bernier, 46, of Middleboro. .He faces charges of kidnapping, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and witness intimidation.
Hancock was scheduled to be arraigned Friday May 22 at Wareham District Court.
