MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro/Lakeville Rotary Club recently received a donation of three boxes of children's books to help stock its nine Little Book Boxes located throughout the community.

“Once again, a caring individual answered the club's call for kids' books, generously donating three full boxes of a diverse selection to fill the nine Little Book Boxes placed throughout the area,” rotary member Kevin Quackenbush wrote in an email.

The books were donated by Kelly Calamari, with assistance from her friend and Rotarian Marjorie Dunn.

“These contributions ensure that children in the community always have access to engaging stories, fostering a love for reading and exploration,” Quackenbush stated.

The Little Book Boxes are part of the Rotary Club’s ongoing efforts to provide free access to reading material for children in Middleboro and Lakeville.
