Schools and town offices to close again on Wednesday

Freetown-Lakeville and Middleboro public schools will close on Wednesday, Feb. 25, due to safety hazards and poor road conditions following the Monday blizzard.

Both districts have announced classes and all before and after school events will not occur, as around 3 feet of snow has fallen in the Middleboro and Lakeville area.

In addition, Middleboro town offices will have a delayed opening tomorrow, opening at 11 a.m. Staffing may be limited in some departments due to availability of employees. Administration offices and the Council on Aging will remain closed.

Lakeville town offices and the Council on Aging will be closed on Wednesday.
