Suzanne Marie Meinhold
Suzanne Marie Meinhold of Middleboro died peacefully in her home on January 11, 2026. Sue was 76.
She was born on November 24, 1949 in Brockton, daughter of the late Carl H. and Evelyn Y. (Thibeault) Meinhold. She was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School. A teacher by profession, Sue was a graduate of MassArt and the Temple University Tyler School of Art, where she earned a Master's Degree. In addition, she was graduate of the Red Cross Aquatic School, where she received her WSI Instructors Certification.
Sue was a member of Saints Martha & Mary of Saint Isidore Parish, volunteering in many programs, particularly the Respect Life Ministry, Hospitality and provided music for the Bible Study as a guitarist.
Sue was a Professed Lay Carmelite in the community of St. John of the Cross in Mashpee. She was a talented watercolorist of animals, portraits and was a potter and clay sculptor. The talent came from her mother, Evelyn and two Thibeault aunties, Alice and Millie. They were cooks, bakers, sewers, gardeners, artists and interior designers.
Cherished twin sister of Francene, with whom she lived, Marilyn and her spouse, Skip Fischer, Gayle Sanitate and her spouse, Dennis and their families. Loving cousin of Evelyn Delutis and her late spouse Donald, Stephanie and her spouse Lonnie, Maureen Born and her spouse Gene, Johnna Coakley, Carol Feick and her spouseTom and many cousins and their families from Cincinnati, Indiananpolis, Chicago, Colorado, Michigan and Massachusetts. Also survived by her adored God Son David Delutis, his spouse Karen and family and his twin brother Donnie Delutis, his spouse Gretchen and family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 28, 2026 at 10 a.m. in Saints Martha and Mary Church of Saint Isidore Parish, 354 Bedford Street (Route 18) Lakeville. A reception will follow.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private and at a later date. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
