Scouts provide Halloween treats to those in need

MIDDLEBORO -- Halloween will be a real treat for clients of the Sacred Heart Food Pantry thanks to the efforts of area girl scouts.

The Middleboro Girl Scouts participated in their annual Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat event on Saturday, Oct. 17.

The Girl Scouts donated more than 200 pounds of food and toiletries to the pantry.

They also wrote cards to veterans as part of the mail call from the Honor Flight Tri-State team. 

After their successful venture, they celebrated with Halloween-themed games and a tasty snack.
