Middleboro pro-democracy group to participate in upcoming nationwide protest

MIDDLEBORO — ​​Indivisible Middleboro, a newly formed nonpartisan pro-democracy group, has announced plans to participate in the “No Kings III” protest this month.

The “No Kings III” protest is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the intersection of routes 28 and 105 in Middleboro.

The Middleboro protest is one of thousands planned for March 28 in all 50 states. Founder Christina Hughes expects at least 150 protesters at the Middleboro location. 

Approximately 5 million protesters participated in the first “No Kings” protest and 7 million in “No Kings II," according to the organization.

Hughes emphasized that the March 28 protest will be peaceful.
