MIDDLEBORO -- Memorial Early Childhood Center youngsters had tons of fun at the annual field day May 28.
During the event, Middleboro police officers made a literal splash as they fell into the dunk tank, courtesy of a strong throw from the kids.
Taking turns trying to soak the police squad has been an annual tradition at the spring event.
That was hardly the only fun on the agenda.
Children also tossed balls, blew bubbles played with hula hoops and otherwise enjoyed a perfect day for celebrating the approaching end of a school year.
