MIDDLEBORO -- They could have named this event Sip and Stroll with Silkies.
Middleboro resident Anne-Marie Koza Hill of Koza Hill Farm will be bringing a few of her bantam chickens to the Sip & Stroll Block Party on Saturday, May 30 at Middleboro Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave.
Her Selfies with Silkies, named Dolly, Duke, and Daisy, offers an opportunity to take a selfie and snuggle with her silkies. She will also have nesting balls, cages for the wild birds, felted soap, and other small items she makes at the farm.
The event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and includes over 100 vendors, food trucks and local restaurants, face painting by Kara Andrews of Art on the Spot, The Bartending Service of New England, music, and free admission.
This family-friendly event offers an opportunity to support community, craftsmanship, cooks, bakers, and the makers. Rain date is Sunday, May 31, same location and hours.
