MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Rotary Club recently donated $250 to the Robbins Museum in appreciation for opening their doors to club members and guests for a recent event.
The donation was doubled by a Massachusetts Archaeological Society benefactor.
Museum vice president and archaeologist Gregory Lott spoke about Middleboro’s history during an event that was attended by 25 people.
The donation was also a way of thanking the museum for maintaining the town’s history that dates back at least 12,000 years.
The Middleboro Rotary is a corporate sponsor of the Robbins Museum, which is located at 17 Jackson St. and serves as home to the Massachusetts Archaeological Society.
