Paul Vincent Savard passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Paul was 78 years old.

 

Paul was a member of the Middleboro Memorial High School, Class of 1965. After high school he attended Burdett College in Boston, and later served in the Navy. He was stationed in Cuba during the Vietnam War era. While in the service Paul married Lorraine Goodwin and they had one son, Christien. In 1973 Paul married Pamela Parmenter, who went to be with the Lord in 2019.

 

Paul was an avid car enthusiast beginning in high school with a fondness for Packards and a love for Avantis. He spent many summer nights at area car shows. He was also a wonderful cat dad. He and Pam had numerous cats over the years and they often donated to animal shelters. Paul and Pam enjoyed their home by the water in Onset and had a love of boating.

 

Paul worked in the family business, Savard Oil as a young man and was a truck driver for Noonan Transportation and Cape Cod Cartledge for over forty years.

 

Along with his wife, Paul was preceded in glory by his parents, Walter Sr. and Barbara Savard; sister, Barbara Plumb; half siblings, Helen, Philly, and Walter, Jr. He is survived by his son, Christien and his wife, Teah; grandchildren, Caleb and his wife Ashley, Joshua, Tessa; and great grandchildren, Katie Sue and Henry. He also leaves his brother, Gerald Savard; and sisters, Janet Bettencourt, and Lynn Morse; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Visiting hours on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

 

Funeral services on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

 

Interment Titicut Parish Cemetery.
