Work of legally blind artist to be showcased at Lakeville library
LAKEVILLE — Raynham artist Cindy Connolly will exhibit her works in the Great Ponds Gallery at the Lakeville Public Library in January and February. This mixed media exhibit will include acrylics, graphites, oils, pastels, and watercolors.
Connolly is a legally blind artist who, in her early years, took art classes for inspiration. She learned various techniques and, through determination and talent, became a skilled and accomplished artist.
A meet the artist reception will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.
This free exhibit is open to the public through Feb. 27. The Lakeville Public Library is open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Sunday and Friday.
