MIDDLEBORO — The Unitarian Universalist Society’s Church in Middleboro has a new ‘peace pole’ on its frown lawn.

The structure was donated by the Middleboro Rotary Club. A dedication ceremony for the peace pole will be held Sunday, Sept. 15 at 12:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the church, located at 25 South Main Street. The Rotary Club and other community representatives will participate. The church’s Social Justice Team will provide refreshments afterwards in the Parish Hall.

Church and community members are all invited to attend.
