Michael "Mike" Davy, 65

MIDDLEBOROUGH - Michael "Mike" Davy, of Middleborough, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly at age 65, on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Mike was well known for his love of music. Having parents who were musically inclined, Mike learned to play every instrument he could get his hands on, mastering many of them, with his favorite being his guitar. In his younger years, he was a member of the Saint Williams Drum Corp. Mike was a proud US Army veteran who loved his country. Mike was such a hard worker. When he was not working as a master sheet metal fabricator at Atlantic Heating & Air Conditioning in Hyde Park, he loved spending time at home with his wife, on their farm, caring for their beloved animals.
Mike is predeceased by his parents, Frank & Helen (Chapman) Davy; and his sister, Janet Thornton, all formerly of Quincy.
Mike is survived by his wife Mary Maynard Davy of Middleborough; and his sister, Shirley Pollard of Quincy.
Mike is also survived by his first wife, Marie Meehan, with whom he shared five of his six children, Amanda Neal & her husband Gerard of Dorchester, John Davy & his wife Debra of Pembroke, Anthony Davy & his wife Danielle of Whitman, Nicole Davy of Dorchester, Matthew Maynard & his partner Shalise of Middleborough, Kimberly Forest & her husband Daniel of Whitman; along with his beloved grandchildren, Tyler Balcam & his wife Elizabeth, Nicholas Balcam & his wife Nicole, Connor Balcam, Kyle Davy, Brendan Neal & his fiancée Morgan Candon, Austin Neal, Dominic Davy, Mikayla Davy, Tristan Forest, Gary Gaza, Juliana Davy, Ava Gaza,Jaxon Forest; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Balcam, Lucas Balcam, Marcus Balcam, Logan Balcam, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws who loved him dearly.
All are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley~Drolette Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Ashley~Drolette Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Monday, November 3, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by Mike's Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Isidore Parish, SACRED HEART CHURCH, 340 Centre Street, Middleborough, at 10:30 AM.
