LAKEVILLE — Todd M. Cheney of the Dahlborg MacNevin Funeral Home in Lakeville was recently honored for 25 years of professional licensing as a funeral director by the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association.

The honor was presented at the association’s Appreciation Night Banquet held at the Sheraton Hotel in Needham.

The Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association is the funeral directors’ professional community and is the recognized voice and resource for information on issues affecting the funeral service profession and standards for service and practices when serving bereaved families.

The association represents more than 500  funeral homes in Massachusetts and is the largest representative organization of funeral service professionals in New England.
