Lakeville student wins first place in countywide art contest

LAKEVILLE — Holden Brodeur, a sixth grader at Mullein Hill Christian Academy has earned first place in Plymouth County for his artwork submitted to the Arson Watch Reward Program.

Holden’s winning piece will be featured in the program’s 2026 calendar, which highlights the theme “Fire Safety — Everyone / Everyday.”

The artwork was submitted by art teacher Sharon Schaffer, who entered student pieces on their behalf.

“Our experienced teachers provide the instruction and motivation for students to perform at their peak,” wrote Mullein Hill Office Manager Diane Ash.
