Lakeville nature images showcased in 2025 calendar
LAKEVILLE — Nature photos taken at four Lakeville locations are among the images selected for the Taunton River Watershed Alliance’s 2025 Taunton River Tide Calendar.
The photographs depict the wildlife and scenery within the Taunton River Watershed, 562 square miles that includes all or part of 43 Southeastern Massachusetts cities and towns.
February’s image will be “Lakeville Loon” by Michael Ojjeh. March will be represented by “Sunrise Reflections,” at Assawompset Pond by Carol Longo.
August will feature “Road Crossing Assist” in Lakeville by Anna O’Keefe. “Cranberry Harvest Betty’s Neck” at Betty’s Neck in Lakeville was taken by Bud Morton and will adorn the November calendar.
Starting Oct. 30, calendars will be available for $20 at Taunton River Watershed Alliance Watershed Center at Sweets Knoll State Park, 1387 Somerset Ave, Dighton. Call ahead at508-828-1101 for times when the center will be open.
A limited number of calendars will be available for a discounted price of $15 at the Taunton River Watershed Alliance’s Annual Meeting from 4 to 6 pm. Nov. 2 at Bristol County Agricultural High School in Dighton.
