MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Tourism Committee is hosting the 10th Herring Run Festival Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Oliver Mill Park, 8 Nemasket St.

The festival celebrates the local herring population and the historical importance of the fish to the town. The festival coincides with the largest herring run on the East Coast.

The event is free and features merchants, vendors, food, live music, a beer garden and herring viewing.
