MIDDLEBORO — A classic car show featuring pre-1989 vehicles will take place at Battis Field, 26 Jackson St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.

The event will feature concessions and rock and roll music. The drivers of the first 50 cars to enter receive a free t-shirt and are automatically entered into a drawing. First place is $200, second place is $150 and third place is $100.

Proceeds benefit local veterans and Middleboro parks.
