MIDDLEBORO — Eagle Scouts are getting ready for the annual ‘Merit Badge Mania’ to be held Saturday, Sept. 28.

This yearly scouting event will take place at Camp Norse in Kingston, MA and will run from 8 to 4 p.m.

Between 100 and 150 scouts and 25 and 30 adults from the Narragansett Council, which includes Middleborough will spend the day engaging in various activities while earning credit for merit badges and rank requirements.

Archery, canoeing, first aid, camping, cooking and automotive maintenance are just a few of the many badges offered in the program.
