Action-packed August at Middleboro COA
MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro senior center has lots of activities planned for residents to enjoy in this last month of summer.
On Thursday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. the senior center will host an intergenerational mobile mini-golf event for grandparents, grandkids, friends and family. The event will be in the air-conditioned function room. Come for the fun and stay for a kid-friendly lunch. Cost is $5 per person. On Thursday, Aug. 15, give your best shot at jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune at the COA. The games will start at 1 p.m. This experience will look and feel like a real “TV” game show. Bring a sharp and quick-thinking friend of family member because prizes will be given out. Arrive by 11:45 a.m. to enjoy a lunch of pulled pork and rice, served at 12 p.m. Middleboro residents only can reserve through Aug. 9, then registration is open to all. Call 508-946-2490 to register.
