The Lakeville Select Board voted on May 19, 2025 to approve the Warrant Articles for the June 9, 2025 Special Town Meeting and Annual Town Meeting, which will begin at 6:30 PM at Apponequet Regional High School Auditorium located at 100 Howland Road, Lakeville, MA.

HISTORICAL COMMISSION
The Middleborough Historical Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the Select Board Room at the Middleborough Town Hall, Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, on the application of Bo McMahon for a permit to demolish a building (“VFW”) at 12 Station Street. Anyone desiring to be heard on this matter should appear at the time and place designated.
This meeting is a result of the previous determination, by the Historical Commission, that 12 Station Street is a Significant Structure, in accordance with the Middleborough Structure Demolition Bylaw.
As an outcome of this hearing, the Commission will explore whether the building shall be determined a “Preferably Preserved Significant Structure” as defined by the Town of Middleborough’s Structure Demolition Bylaw, Sections 3.3-3.6 or if a permit for demolition will be granted.
