Timothy J. Sullivan, age 82, of Middleboro, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 in his home.  He was born and raised in Canton by his loving parents, Leo and Lucinda Sullivan.  He attended St. John the Evangelist School in Canton, attended and graduated from Mount St. Charles in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.  He later attended Curry College in Milton.

 

His working career consisted of 39 years starting out in the Financial Department and later in the Contracts Department for GTE Sylvania which became General Dynamics. 

 

Just three years ago, thru Ancestry, he discovered and met many new biological relatives.  He was so happy and proud of his new family members and loved them all just like he had known them all his life. 

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lois.  After they retired together in 2002, they traveled and enjoyed numerous cruises together and with many friends.

 

He is also survived by his sister:  Lois Spence of Reading; brother, Charles Norton of Bonita Springs, FL; sister-in-law, Joanne Sullivan of Easton; and his brother George.  We're still searching for you!

 

He is also survived by by three of his four daughters:  Donna Sullivan of Brockton, Zahira Julie Allen of New Lebanon, New York and Christina Hammond of Carver.  He is also survived by his son-in-law, Robert DeGirolamo of Randolph; three granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. 

 

He was pre-deceased by his fourth daughter, Diane DeGirolamo and brothers and sisters, Leo Sullivan, Richard Clarke, Beverly Jacobsen and Patricia Conway.

 

Visiting hours on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 3 until 6 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro.

 

Interment will be private and at a later date.
