Tucson, Arizona - Anna Marie Hubacheck, age 66 of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Middleborough, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.

It is with a broken heart that we mourn the passing of our sister, cousin, aunt and friend Anna Hubacheck. She was the oldest of four children bore to George & Louisa (née Rudolphi) Hubacheck.

Anna embraced nature. She enjoyed long walks in the woods looking for fossils, old bottles and other artifacts. She loved playing card games (especially 45) but her true guilty pleasure was scratch tickets!

Anna was an avid cook and baker. If you were lucky enough to get a custom made birthday cake—it was truly a gift. Anna loved all these things, but her true happiness was found when she was doting on her pets, especially Sammy and Sissy who passed shortly before she did. She also enjoyed the time spent with her family and the visits made out to Arizona to visit her.

Anna is survived by her sisters, Anita & her husband Bob Mola, and Linda Greenwood; her brothers, Stephen Hubacheck & his wife Judy, Carl Hubacheck and John Hubacheck & his wife Kellie; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents,George & Louisa Hubacheck and her brother, Billy Granfield.

The family welcomes all to celebrate Anna's life with visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM.

Graveside Services will conclude at the Rock Cemetery, Highland Street, Middleborough.
