MIDDLEBORO —The Middleboro Christmas parade returns this year at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, with a rain/snow date of Sunday, Nov. 27, the Middleboro Christmas Parade Committee has announced.
The parade starts at Burkland School, 41 Mayflower Ave. The parade continues up Mayflower Avenue to Courtland Street then travels around Station Street, down Centre Street to South Main Street and returns to Burkland School.
This year’s theme is “Keeping the Christmas Spirit.’’ Community participation is encouraged.
Signs and banners should be displayed on all sides of parade floats. Anyone wishing to hand out candy should do so while walking; throwing candy from a moving float is not allowed and will result in disqualification from judging.
