There’s a lot happening in Lakeville and Middleboro in any given week. Here’s a list of things to do.

Saturday, May 13

Pottery at the Library

Rick Hamelin, known as the Pied Potter, will lead two pottery workshops Saturday, May 13, at the Middleboro Public Library, 102 N Main St.

The first workshop is for adults and is titled “Time to Spout Off: Teapots from Around the World.” It runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is a celebration of the similarities and differences of many cultures by way of a pot of tea.

The “Fantasy Clay Figures” program is for ages 11 to 18 and takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will create a clay dragon during the workshop.

Space for both programs is limited so registration is required. Call the library at (508) 946-2470 or, for the adult program, email Libby Fox, reference and adult services librarian at lfox@sailsinc.org, and for the teen program, email Young Adult Librarian Chris Dargelis at cdargeli@sailsinc.org.
