Irish singalong

Middleboro native Ed Patrick Priest is headlining Kiss Me I'm Irish at The Alley Theatre on March 17, St. Patrick's Day. 

The evening will feature Irish music, sing-alongs, Irish humor, and an Irish step dancer. Priest has been entertaining audiences for decades. 

Doors open at 6 p.m. Entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Bartending Service of New England will offer a full bar and green beer. Main Ingredient is providing Irish food for an additional cost.

Saturday, March 18

Beekeeping

Two workshops on Introduction to Beekeeping will take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18 at the West Classroom at Soule Homestead Education Center, 46 Soule St., Middleboro. Those attending will learn the basics of home beekeeping. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.

Cabin Fever Food Drive

The Cabin Fever Food Drive will be held at the Middleboro Elks, 24 High St., at 7 p.m. March 18, 7 p.m. to midnight. South Bound will be featured playing country and classic rock music. All donations are made to The Society of St. Vincent De Paul.

Those attending are asked to bring items needed for the pantry, including condiments, nut butters, beverages, cooking oils, dried herbs and spices, crackers, rice, sauces, fruit, baking ingredients, baby food and formula and canned goods. Tickets are $12.

Sunday, March 19

Cold Chocolate Concert

The Friends of the Middleborough Public Library is hosting their Sunday concert series with Cold Chocolate, an Americana band from Boston playing catchy original music from the heart of New England at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19 at the library located at 102 North Main Street.

This event is the final concert in a six-part series that has been funded in part by the generosity of Fireside Grille, Fisher’s Pub, and Central Café.

All proceeds support the programs and activities offered to the community by the library staff.

The Friends of the Middleboro Public library will be serving refreshments and desserts at the concert.
