MIDDLEBORO — Jillian Marie Jensen of The Amber’s Eyes Band will perform a free concert Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at The Alley Theatre, 133 Center Street, Middleboro. The event is sponsored by Thrive Dispensary.
The Bartending Service of New England will open the event at 6 p.m. Complimentary parking is available at Middleboro Town Hall.
Jensen, known for X Factor Season 2 and American Idol Season 13, returned to Massachusetts in 2018 to pursue her dream of forming a country band. The band has performed on WATD, Country 102.5, and opened for Old Dominion. Their debut album charted No. 69 on the Top 100 Country Charts.

LAKEVILLE — Inge Pustelnikas, a WWII survivor and one of the few remaining “German Wolf Children,” will speak at the Lakeville Council on Aging on Friday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m.
At just 10 years old, Inge escaped onto a train to Lithuania in search of food for her family, enduring a harrowing journey through the woods and swamps of East Prussia. Her story highlights survival, hope, and reunion, eventually leading her to settle in the United States.
Space is limited, and sign-ups are required. The Council is located at 1 Dear Crossing.

MIDDLEBORO — Comedian Steve Sweeney will perform at The Alley Theatre in Middleboro on Saturday, Sept. 20, as part of a special event celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts.
The show will begin at 7 p.m., with the bar opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person and must be purchased in advance. For reservations, email burtwoodschool@aol.com.
Sweeney, a veteran of the New England comedy scene, will be joined by Middleboro native Greg Thomas and regional comic Tom Stewart, who will open the show.
Recognized for his sharp political commentary and use of regional dialects, Sweeney gained national attention with appearances on “Late Night with David Letterman,” “Evening at the Improv,” and HBO. He starred in the Boston-based sitcom “Park Street Under” and has appeared in several films, including “Back to School,” “There’s Something About Mary,” and “Me, Myself & Irene.”
Sweeney previously hosted The Steve Sweeney Show on WZLX and currently appears on WATD-FM with former Massachusetts politician Joe Malone.
The Bartending Service of New England will provide beverages, and Coffee Milano will offer food.
