Hadestown to come to Middleboro
MIDDLEBORO — Middleborough High School students will perform Hadestown: Teen Edition, based on the popular Broadway show, Nov. 21 and 22 at 6:30 p.m. and Nov. 23 at 3 p.m.
First responders to battle it out on the field
MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Police and Fire departments will face off in a charity flag football game this Friday.
The Battle of the Badges will be held Nov. 21 at Battis Field at 26 Jackson St. and begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person or $15 for a family of four.
Concessions will also be available.
All proceeds will benefit the police and fire unions, as well as the Mitchell Memorial Club youth football and cheer teams.
Tickets can be purchased at the Middleboro Fire department at 125 N. Main St.
Saturday, Nov. 22
Old decor to find new life at Middleboro library
MIDDLEBORO — Unwanted holiday decorations can find a new home at the Middleboro Public Library.
The library will hold a decorations swap for attendees to trade their used decorations for new-to-them ones Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visitors can bring ornaments, candles, lights, inflatables, linens and any other items they have on hand, but the library requests people bring things in good condition.
Items can be donated to the library before the event, or dropped off on Saturday.
