It’s snow joke
The Lakeville Public Library’s next crafting class will create 3D paper snowflakes during an evening of free, Christmas-crafting fun.
The class will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 6:00 p.m, and is free for the public to attend. The event is intended for adults and teens 16 and up. An instructor will help the class create paper snowflakes with a third-dimension twist.
All supplies will be provided. Registration is required since space is limited.

SATURDAY, DEC. 13
Jubi-leave it all on the stage
St. Isidore Parish will host the final celebration of the Year of Hope with a pageant and musical program.
The Christmas Jubilee Pageant event will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville. The program is the final event of St. Isidore Parish’ celebration of the Year of Hope.
The program will include a pageant, lessons and carols. Following the performances, a cookie swap and hot chocolate will be available in the church’s downstairs hall.
All are welcome to attend the event, located at 354 Bedford St. in Lakeville.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 17
Wrap it up
Visit the Middleboro Public Library for a Holiday Wrapping Workshop to get ready for Chrismtas.
Attendees can bring their gifts and use the library’s supply of holiday paper, gift tags, bags and bows to get their holiday packages wrapped and ready to go. This event coincides with the Make a Gift workshop where supplies will be available to make a special gift for a friend or loved one.
The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
This is a drop-in event for all ages and is sponsored by the Peirce Trust. The Middleboro Public Library is located at 102 N. Main St.
