LAKEVILLE _ Lakeville Center for Active Living has plenty of activities in the next few weeks. Here is a sampling of scheduled events.

Paint Day with Amy, 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19

Ice Cream Truck social, 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14

Gong Bath Sound Therapy, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18

Veterans Meet-Up, 9 to 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 21.

Congressional Update and Q&A with Congressman Jake Auchincloss, 1 p.m. Thursday Aug. 27

Community Dining & Boxed Lunches, noon Mondays

Also, Aug. 21 marks “National Senior Citizens Day,” which was first recognized in 1988 to celebrate the achievements, wisdom and contributions of older adults to society, as well as to raise awareness of the social, economic and health challenges they may face.
