Soule Homestead schedules slate of activities in December
MIDDLEBORO — Lots of events are planned in December at Soule Homestead Education Center in Middleboro.
Wreath making will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 and 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. Pre-registration is required. Workshop fee is $55 for members and $65 for non-members, with a materials fee of $15.
A drop-in kid’s mini-wreath workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 7. Cost is $6 for members and $9 for non-members.
A luminaria walk event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14.The paths will be lined with candles. Walks are limited to 15 people and run in 20-minute increments. The final walk begins at 7:45 p.m. Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 12, which includes a lantern craft activity. Free coffee and cocoa will be served after the walk, with refreshments available for purchase.
Kids’ ornament painting workshop is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.Two ornaments will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
A drop-in winter break craft will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 27.. Cost is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. A maximum of two acorns will be decorated. A story will be read intermittently.
