Soule Homestead offers activities in January, February

MIDDLEBORO — A series of activities are scheduled in January and February at Soule Homestead Education Center, 46 Soule St., Middleboro.

Rug braiding will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. Workshop fees are $15 for member returnees and $25 for non-member returnees and $30 for first-time attendee members and $40 for non-member first-time attendees. Registration is required.

An embroidery workshop will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25. Workshop price is $30 for members and $40 for non-members. Material fee is $5. Registration is required.

Pottery: Plaques or Trivets will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 1. Workshop price is $45 for members and $55 for non-members. Material fee is $5. Registration is required.

Two owl prowls will take place, one for families and one for adults, Saturday, Feb. 15. 

The family prowl will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The adult walk is from 7 to 8 p.m. The fee for each prowl is $5 for member children through age 12, $10 for non-member children. Adult fee is $8 for members and $15 for non-members. Registration is required.

A winter sowing workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 to 11 a.m. Workshop price is $20 for members and $30 for non-members, with a materials fee of $4.  Registration is required.
