Sign up for a free tree
MIDDLEBORO — Registration is now open for the Soule Homestead and Education Center’s annual free tree planting for Earth Day.
The homestead had a successful program last year, and will be yet again giving out native trees for kids and teenaged residents to plant in their yards for Earth Day that takes place in April.
The homestead is working with the nonprofit Neighborhood Forest for their tree program again to provide free seedlings. All of the trees are free, and pick up is at Soule Homestead.
People who are interested can register for their free trees at this link by March 15.
The trees will likely be available to pick up before Earth Day but sometimes shipping can vary, the homestead stated in a press release.
For more information, visit the Soule Homestead and Education Center’s events page on their website.
