Paula Lee Clark (née Poirier)
June 13, 1949 – June 6, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share that Paula Lee Clark passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, just one week shy of her 76th birthday. She was surrounded by her devoted husband Bill and loving daughter Christine, along with the warmth and care of the incredible staff at the Shaw Home, who treated her like family in her final days.

Paula was born on June 13, 1949, and grew up in Holbrook, MA. She later settled in Norwell, where she and Bill built a beautiful life and home together, raising their children and creating decades of memories. Paula worked for many years as a bookkeeper, but her true passion was her family. She loved hosting cookouts, being together with those she loved, and simply enjoying the little things that made a house a home.

In 2013, Paula and Bill moved to Oak Point in Middleboro, where she found a vibrant new chapter of life. She threw herself into the community — joining the Women’s Club, line dancing, taking aerobics classes, bowling, and making new friends. She especially enjoyed daily walks with Bill and their dog, quiet moments filled with love and routine. Cruises, family time, and caring for animals were some of her greatest joys.

Paula was a kind and gentle soul who brought calm, comfort, and quiet strength to everyone around her. She faced her journey with Alzheimer’s with incredible grace, never losing the warmth that made her so beloved. Her strength was quiet but deep — the kind that lifts others without ever asking for anything in return.

She leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Bill Clark; her daughter Christine of Halifax, MA; and her brothers, Richard Poirier of Holbrook and Joseph Poirier and sister-in-law, Linda of Quincy. Paula is reunited in peace with her son Brian Clark; and her late sister Deborah Stevenson her brother-in-law Wayne Stevenson of Rockland, her late sister Linda Caron and her late brother-in-law Paul Caron, and her late sister Judith Poirier — a family full of love and resilience.

Our family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at the Shaw Home Memory Care Unit for their compassion, patience, and love. Their care meant the world to us.

In Paula’s memory, donations may be made to the Shaw Home Memory Care Unit, 299 Wareham St Middleboro MA 02346, so that others may continue to receive the dignity and care she was so blessed to have or donate to a charity of your choice.
