Middleboro man ejected from vehicle in rollover crash
MIDDLEBORO — A 26-year-old Middleboro man suffered life-threatening injuries after being ejected from his vehicle in a single-vehicle crash near Precinct Street and Juno Path in Middleboro, Thursday, Oct. 9.
Middleboro Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene around 4 p.m., where they found the man was ejected from the rolled-over vehicle he was operating. After on-scene treatment from fire department personnel, the man was flown by medical helicopter to an area trauma center with life threatening injuries, according to police and fire officials.
As of Friday morning, the man is expected to survive according to Middleboro Police Chief Robert Ferreira. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
Police have not released any other details on the man's identity or the circumstances of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Middleboro Police Department, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
