I want to express support for the LGBTQIA+ folks in this town. The trans kids and grownups who have to struggle every day with the closed-minded conservative constituents who try to make you feel less than. 

To our queer and gender non conforming residents…you have support. You are not alone. You have allies. The hate and fearmongers may have media attention at the moment, but the groups currently pushing for their agenda are not what defines this community.

What defines us is love, protection of the most vulnerable, compassion, and empathy.  This is a public reminder that you are not alone.
