North Congregational Church collects juice for food pantry
MIDDLEBORO — Over the past month, members of North Congregational Church have been collecting juice donations to support a local food pantry.
During the summer, the congregation joins with Lakeville United Church of Christ for combined worship services, alternating locations every three weeks. This past Sunday, Aug. 10, marked the final day for juice donations — and the congregations didn’t disappoint.
The Witness Team at North Congregational Church, known as The Little Yellow Church, selects a different donation focus throughout the year.
“The members and friends of the church are always up for the challenge,” wrote Ellen Cooley.
North Congregational Church is located at 38 Plymouth St., across from Titicut Green. Worship services will return to the church at 11 a.m. starting in September.
