Laurie Anne (Dunn) Pauze, 63
MIDDLEBOROUGH - Laurie Anne (Dunn) Pauze, age 63, of Middleborough, died on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Boston Medical Center in Boston surrounded by her family.
Laurie devoted her life to family and helping others. Her selfless acts impacted so many. She was the type of person who would drop everything and on whom you could always count. Laurie’s career also focused on people, as she worked many years in Human Resources and volunteered her free time in her childrens’ schools. She loved reading, enjoyed being outside, and she and Bob were avid gardeners who loved turning their harvests into home-cooked meals together. Laurie made many family-favorite recipes that will be missed. She was a devoted wife and mother who supported her children through the ups and downs of life, guiding them through school and sports, and so proud to be their Mom. She was a devoted grandmother who never missed a sporting event, milestone, or celebration. Her presence brought instant joy to her grandchildren. Laurie loved having company, she was an amazing host who made everyone feel at home. She never wanted a family gathering to end; hosting to the very end by the fire, over a game of cards, board game, or just conversation. Her selflessness extended beyond her family and friends as she and Bob were foster parents over many years to give stability and a loving home to children in need. She also loved dogs and cared for many over the years, all of whom "hit the jackpot" with her as their human. She will be deeply missed by many and is irreplaceable.
Laurie was the beloved wife for 41 years to Bob Pauze; loving mother of Bob Pauze & his wife Rachael of Lakeville, Stacey Pauze of Lakeville and Joe Pauze of Middleborough; cherished grandmother of Noah, Brody and Logan; devoted daughter of the late Sandra (Pierce) Michele; dear sister of Robin Hopkins & her husband John of Panama City, Florida; daughter-in-law of Melvin Pauze of Osterville & the late Violet Cecile Pauze; sister-in-law of John Pauze of Bridgewater, Sue Dos Santos Pais of Brockton and the late Beth Pauze; niece of Ruth Betts of Middleborough. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
