Lakeville seeks resident input on new bylaw aimed to preserve natural resources
Event Date
LAKEVILLE — The town of Lakeville is seeking residential input for the creation of an Open Space Residential Development bylaw at an upcoming community meeting.
The new bylaw aims to enforce regulations that will guide new residential subdivisions to balance lot sizes in order to preserve undeveloped, open space in Lakeville.
The community input meeting will be held from 4 to 5:45 p.m. on March 25, at the Lakeville Public Library. It serves as the final public feedback discussion for the new bylaw, as the town is in the final drafting stages.
Before finalization, the town needs residents to confirm the recommended goals and priorities match the community’s needs. Residents are encouraged to attend to express their thoughts and concerns for the future of Lakeville’s residential development and open land preservation.
