LAKEVILLE — A $50 late fee has been issued as of Aug. 8 to dog owners who have not licensed their dogs as of April 30.

Dog owners that have not licensed their canines by Sept. 30 will be summoned to Fourth District Court in Wareham.

License fees are $16 for males and females, $10 for spayed or neutered dogs. 

Payments can be made in person to the town clerk’s office, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday, or by mail to Lakeville Town Clerk, 346 Bedford St., Lakeville MA 02347. 

Proof of rabies vaccination must be submitted to receive the license.
