LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Historical Society will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, May 22, at 7 p.m. at the Lakeville Council on Aging, Dear Crossing.

Principal Chief of the Chappaquiddick Pokanoket Nation Tom Frederick will speak on “Teweeleema: Bride of the Forest.’’ Teweeleema was also known as Melinda Mitchell and was a descendant of Chief Massasoit. The meeting is accessible, free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
