Duxbury man charged for drug distribution in Middleboro and neighboring towns
MIDDLEBORO — A Duxbury man has been charged with possession and intent to distribute controlled substances in the greater Plymouth region.
Justin Tatum, 40, is accused of distributing cocaine and fentanyl in Middleboro, Duxbury, Kingston and Plymouth. He and 41-year-old Trinity Norman, of Plymouth, were also charged with money laundering conspiracy.
Norman was arrested Feb. 2 and released following an initial court appearance.
According to prosecutors, several cooperating sources informed investigators Tatum sold drugs in the area. A cooperating witness then made controlled purchases of fentanyl and other drugs from Tatum.
Court-authorized wiretaps intercepted Tatum discussing drug distribution activities between April and July 2025, according to court documents. When investigators searched his house and a Middleboro location July 14, 2025, they found and seized large amounts of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine. Tatum was arrested soon after.
He had previously been convicted of trafficking cocaine and sentenced to 15 years in state prison.
Area and state police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives assisted in the investigation.
Tatum is scheduled to next appear in court Feb. 12 in Boston.
